Dear Saved by the Bell Fans,
It's been 6 years since SavedbytheBellNow.com first opened. Can you believe that? I've been a fan of this show for far more many years, though. So, this letter is very difficult for me to write. When I first came up with the idea of this website, I NEVER thought how far I could take it. All I wanted to do was create something different the web didn't have. My favorite show had several fan based websites online. But there wasn't much fan interaction. And many of the sites weren't updated very often. And I thought this is something our favorite show deserved and I vowed for my website to become this.
But, my site exceeded my expectations. I did my best to be creative and different. But that didn't matter! It was all because of YOU! I couldn't believe the amount of visitors and attention we were getting. Then I opened up the forum and that became a bigger hit! Because of your support and active participation, we became the #1 source for all things SBTB. We even scored exclusive pictures, interviews, merged with Barb and Carrie to become an even bigger SBTB:NOW!, petitioned to change the Seasons 3&4 DVD cover and made the difference, and even voted for SBTB to get picked up on The N network beginning this January 2008! WOW! But most importantly, we became a community of friends. We learned to defend one another and love one another. And we basically created a SBTB community that can not be duplicated.
Over the past year, though, my life drastically changed....for the better. And I tried my best to keep up with SBTB:NOW! the best I could. But I became a school teacher, became engaged to be married, moved to another state, planned a wedding, purchased a new home, etc. etc. etc. And I've come to realize doing the website all by myself to make everyone happy was impossible! We've worked hard to build this site together and I do not want to see it go away.
So, I've come up with an idea to revamp SBTB:NOW! The domain will fizzle away. But, we are keeping the forum. The forum is going to get even bigger and better. Barb and I will still be offering our services there. You will still get updated with SBTB news and cast news and all things media, like avatars, videos, and photos. But here is the good part, you will be there to help us out! I know with your support and participation, we can make SBTB:NOW! even bigger. So, please be patient as we make the changes. I think you will LOVE what we'll be creating. In the meantime, I've added a small chat at the bottom of the forum, so you can still communicate. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to email me. Again, I hope to continue to see you at the NEW SBTB:NOW! . Thank you, thank you, thank YOU for letting us do what we do!
